Rehearse your presentation before it counts.

  • For a hiring panel
  • A pitch to investors
  • A proposal to a client

Deliver it out loud, with your slides and the clock running. ProxiCoach tells you what landed and what didn’t: your message, structure, evidence, voice and timing, each point backed by the exact words you said.

  • With your own slides
  • In English, Spanish, Portuguese and French

In your head, the presentation always goes well.

Running through it in your head is nothing like delivering it. Out loud, with the clock running, the gaps show up: the point you can’t quite land, the slide that eats two minutes, the ending that comes too late.

Rehearsing alone, in silence

Nobody tells you whether your main point came across, whether the order made sense or whether you ran over. You find out in front of the audience.

Rehearsing out loud, with ProxiCoach

You deliver it start to finish, with your slides and the clock running, and get a report on what landed and what didn’t, with your own words as the evidence.

How it works

Three steps, with whatever material you have.

  1. Say who you’re speaking to

Pick your audience (a hiring panel, investors, prospective clients, experts, the general public, or “not sure”) and how long you’ll speak: 3, 5, 10, 15 or 25 minutes. Add your topic and, if you like, what you want to achieve.

  2. Bring your material

Upload your slides as a PDF, paste your notes so ProxiCoach can organise your ideas before you speak, or upload a recording you already have. All of it is optional.

  3. Present it, start to finish

Record yourself after a countdown, moving through your slides as you go. No pausing, just like the real thing. When you finish, you get your report.

What your report looks at

How you delivered it, not whether you picked the right topic. Eight core dimensions apply to any audience, and depending on who you’re speaking to, audience-specific criteria are added.

Core message

Is there one idea, in one sentence, that the audience could repeat on the way out?

Structure and flow

An opening that sets direction, an order people can follow, clear transitions and an ending that actually ends.

Evidence and support

Enough data, examples and sources to back up what you claim.

Audience and language

Whether what you say is built for this audience, in words that reach them.

Voice and timing

How you use your voice and how you spend the time you had. Your accent is never scored.

Slides

Each slide compared with what you said while it was on screen. For this one, record in the app with your slides.

Plus criteria for each audience: with investors, for example, it also looks at whether you show you’ve done the work and put the team up front; with a general audience, whether you steer clear of jargon.

An honest report, with no overall score

We’d rather give you a report with gaps than one that only looks complete.

  • Every dimension, with your own words. Each level comes with the exact sentence you said that supports it.
  • Anything we can’t verify is left out. If a quote doesn’t appear in what you said, that dimension is dropped and we tell you why.
  • Named levels, not numbers. From Deficient to Advanced, with no single score averaging it all out.
  • Your voice, measured rather than marked. Words per minute, pauses and your most repeated fillers are there to compare you with your next take, not to grade you.
  • The second take is where it clicks. “Practise again” keeps the same topic, audience and slides ready to go.

Which presentations is it for?

Any talk you have to give, in person or on a call: a presentation to a hiring panel, a pitch to investors, a proposal to a client, a talk for experts or for a general audience. You choose the audience and the assessment adapts to it. If you’re not sure, or it’s mixed, you’re assessed on the eight core dimensions that apply to everyone.

Do I need slides?

No. You can practise with just your topic. If you upload your slides as a PDF, the report also looks at how you use them, comparing each slide with what you said over it.

My presentation is in PowerPoint. Will that work?

For now ProxiCoach reads PDFs. In PowerPoint or Keynote, use File › Export to PDF; in Google Slides, File › Download › PDF document. It takes two clicks and your slides look exactly the same.

Can I upload a recording I already have?

Yes. Upload it (MP3, M4A, OGG or WebM) and we’ll assess it without you having to present again. Since we can’t tell which slide was on screen at each moment, the Slides dimension isn’t assessed, and the report says so.

How long is each practice session?

As long as your presentation: choose 3, 5, 10, 15 or 25 minutes. It runs start to finish with no pause, like the real thing; if you get interrupted, discard the take and start again. If you speak for under four minutes, the report warns you that the assessment is less reliable.

What happens to my voice?

Your voice is transcribed so it can be assessed, and the audio is discarded when you finish, unless you ask us to keep your recordings. The text of what you said is kept, and is deleted along with your account.

Which languages does it work in?

ProxiCoach works in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, so you can rehearse in the language you’ll be presenting in.
